Seattle with mom

I go to Seattle about twice a year to visit my brother and his family, and this time was especially fun because my mom went with me. I haven’t been on a mom and me trip in forever!

We picked fresh wild blackberries at Discovery Park and I ended up with a TON of cuts from this viscious plant! Mom made a homemade blackberry cobbler and we have Chris and Sarah Rhoads over for cobbler and ice cream!

I know that your brother loves it when you come to visit but is probably thrilled that you bring your camera with you when you come too! Before I got serious about photography my family would tell me to put that thing away (meaning my camera) then once I got serious and my work started to improve the tone changed drastically. Now they say things like 'well, when you come next weekend, can you bring your camera?' I love it. Keep shooting. carol
