I've had one (really two) for years and use it almost exclusively for people pictures and events. Of course wouldn't trade my 300 and 500 2.8 IS's nor 200 macro for anything since I lean toward sports and wildlife phootography alot. Let us know if you are ever down andrews way. The Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS is a great lens and wise choice for what you will be doing. I’ve had one (really two) for years and use it almost exclusively for people pictures and events. Of course wouldn’t trade my 300 and 500 2.8 IS’s nor 200 macro for anything since I lean toward sports and wildlife phootography alot. Let us know if you are ever down andrews way.
