Tuesday I had a one on one Brainwash with Carol Mccowen from Ira, Texas! We had a great time and once again ate Abuelo’s and Cake’s cupcakes. Yum. Now I will diet, for real.

Never before has a couple come to visit me in Lubbock only 4 days after their wedding… for another hour in front of my camera. I guess they just couldn’t get enough after their wedding Friday in Flower Mound. Amy and Derek are fun, awesome people. We had a good time yesterday. I’ve spent all day trying to soothe my computers, because they are going slower than ever and I am real sad about it. If you are waiting on a gallery to be posted, a dvd to be mailed, don’t fear! It won’t be much longer! I’m on the phone with my computer guy right now and hopefully Larry can fix me up and bring me back to lightning speed production.

I guess I’m totally loving black and whites lately!

This post is a long time coming. Alison attended Love Affair in Atlanta this last summer and she was actually the first girl we met. She was out by the pool when all of us went out jumped in the cold waters and were talking about how nervous we were about speaking that night! Love Affair is such a blessing in my life and we were so overwhelmed with how good everything was going that we had a pool night and started giving away prizes to the person who could perform a certain pool stunt or contest. The prizes kept getting bigger and bigger until finally we all huddled up and Kelly announced that the ladies outside the pool had better get in because the prizes were about to get REALLY good. A few ladies stripped down into their undies and jumped in. That was it. No one else could get in for these prizes, and Kelly announced that I had just dropped 4 quarters in the pool and each lady that found one would get a FREE Brainwash with one of us! It was one of the most exciting moments at Love Affair. Those ladies dove in and I think that Alison might have been the first or second person to find a quarter. She traveled down with her cute dog, Daisy, for her free Brainwash 2 weeks ago and here are some pictures from the sessions!

Jon and Jillian met me this weekend in Stillwater, Oklahoma for their engagement session. These two are such fun people. Jillian had the most amazing hair I’ve ever seen and Jon had some really dry jokes to make ME laugh! It was a good time, and here are the faves…

Tisha met up with me in Granbury this weekend and we photographed a wedding and this awesome couple! Ashley and Richard were so fun and had the coolest outfits of all time! Ashley is a bag designer and will be posting a new site soon, until then check her out at Ashard Richley!

I’m lucky when a couple just can’t meet me for a four o’clock shoot, and when the winter light is also shining on us it’s a double blessing. Most of my shoots are done with high sun, harsh shadows and bold colors, but tonight we were able to bask in the magic light of sunset. Here are two from Klay and Deborah’s engagement session from tonight. More to come Monday.

During our drive to Boling, Texas for Catherine’s e-session it rained and poured the entire hour it took us to get there, but then we prayed… and it stopped right as we pulled into their house. Catherine and Luke are such a cool couple, we really got along well! They are cattle ranchers and it made me want one of their rhino-camel looking cows! Their land was beautiful and had the largest Oak tree I’ve ever seen before! It was so huge that the heavy branches made a canopy around it.
