A fancy blog has been long coming for me. I have always had the free blogs and just decided the importance of a unique and brand matchy-matchy blog this year. Please check out my new blog HERE!
Addie, her mom, and I met at Aspen Coffee yesterday right in the high blazes of this Oklahoma heat, it was 106… again. She was full of life and had some awesome outfits! Here are my favorites!

Just wanted to give you all an update on my life. It is about to get C R A Z Y!

- Josh starts school at OSU while trying to finish up the house renovation.
- 1 weekend off to enjoy the land and the house
- Drive to Dallas for 8 days for the AMAZING and SOLD OUT Love Affair Workshop that I co-teach, drive to Cross Plains, Texas to spend the night with my best friend Aimee.
- Come home for 2 weeks of sessions/Brainwashes
- Drive back to Lubbock for 10 days of weddings and sessions.
Sheesh. I need some ice cream just to cope with reading all of that! My life will resume some sort of normalness the first week of October, which I am sure will be loaded with tons of family sessions!
About an hour after I got into Lubbock I met Lexi and her mom downtown for her senior session! We had a great time and the weather was quite nice compared to how it has been for the last two weeks in Stillwater. No HUMIDITY! Lexi is quite the cheerleader and will be trying out for the TCU cheer squad!

The farm room is near completion! All I have to do to finish this room is put up my family tree wall, hang the mirror, buy the bed and hang a light! Everything else is on the walls!! I love the way it came out, now you need to come and visit me so we can put this room to good use.

Isn’t this the cutest little side table ever? I bought it at a second hand store downtown Stillwater and it was NASTY when I picked it up, but thanks to reading Design Sponge Online every day I could see the potential. It was pretty wounded with black and red paint chipping off of it and originally had 2 drawers, but I took one out for open storage. I sanded, primed, spray painted and then once it was dry I roughed up the edges and replaced the ugly knobs with some beautiful ones from Anthropologie! This project cost me a whopping $41 and breaks down like this…spray paint: $6, side table: $15, Knobs: $20 .
Here are a few places where I bought some of this cute stuff:
Word FARM and Record Player: Urban Outfitters, $10/letter that I spray painted yellow and then distressed
Cute cow, lamp, pillows, drapes, bookshelf: Pier 1
Gawdy frame: Hobby Lobby during the half off sale
Green rug: big SPLURGE at Eurway in Frisco
Cute knobs on the red side table: Anthropologie $10/each

AND!!! An almost finished amazing bathroom with the most perfect limey, olivey green in the whole world.

Julia and Elliot could be related to me, I mean, my last name WAS Lee just like Elliot’s before I married Josh. These two have kind hearts and are really, truely in love and this makes a session super easy. This is one of my favorite sessions in a while, but it didn’t come without a fight. This fight just happened to show up all over my ankles, legs and feet today: a BAZILLION CHIGGERS. Yes, I’m sure that they are covered in this blessing also from having them lay in the grass for 5-10 minutes. Oh dear, I can already see what I will look like covered in pink nail polish.

April and Cody are a funny couple. Cody is a true cowboy engaged to a beautiful bow hunting cowgirl! They drove in from Lawton, Oklahoma yesterday for their engagement session with me and wanted to keep things “country”, and this is just how I like it! We probably put a good 40 miles on our cars driving from east to west around Stillwater. Here are the faves!

Look! This is on my land!

Last night the Cox girls and I traveled around Stillwater in the 104 degree weather to take some fun pictures! Look at how beautiful these three are!
