Lesson no. 2 learned from shooting kids: shooting at 1.4 isn’t going to work anymore. 3.5 is my new average.

Well if you haven’t heard yet, I am changing the course of my business to kid photography! I will still accept 10 weddings per year, but my new venture will be photographing YOUR fun kids and families!

Since I have ALWAYS turned away kids and most family sessions I wanted to extend a discount to maybe bring those people back:).

My session package is normally $500 and includes $200 in prints. Well if you book a kid/family session by the first of April (you must purchaseit by April, but can use it through the middle of  July before we move to Oklahoma) then I am giving a new package like this one…

I am still not completely caught up on all of the blogging, albums, emails that I need to be. It has been a busy week!! I will try to get the headshots done next week before I head to WPPI for the tradeshow booth with Kelly and Millie for UNO!!!

5 Random things about Abbey!

Just normal facts..I’m 16 years old, I’m a Christian, I plan to attend Oklahoma State in Stillwater, and I want to be a photographer or something in the related fields.

1) I believe knowing sign language is one of the most interesting things about me. I have been learning a little every day for the past four years because one of my best friends is deaf.

2) I am most afraid of cutting my hair. I hate just getting a trim because I am afraid the stylist will just chop it off.

3) My great great grandfather immigrated from Ireland. I am between 1/8th and 1/16th Irish and would love to go to Ireland.

4) Every time I laugh, I cry, whether I laugh really hard or not.

5) I love my dog very much! I have a silver miniature schnauzer, Laney, who is almost a year old.

Saturday I didn’t have a wedding and was itching to shoot, something that is happening quite a bit lately, and called up my sis-in-law to see if I could practice on her maternity pictures. Isn’t she beautiful? She is having baby no. 3, and the first girl on the Clark’s side!
